Private Space

“Private Space” is a series of photographs centralizing the many identities held within the LGBTQI+ community. As a cis-gendered gay male, I sought to explore my identity by collaborating with other identities in the community in creating images. The images created are shot in the privacy of the homes and sacred places that the subjects call their “private space.” The collaborations are intended to flip the stereotypes that heteronormative culture places on the community by documenting the subjects in private spaces that house a different side of their identity that is not necessarily accessible by the public.
